| Description: |
The Latino population represents the largest minority group in the United States. By 2050, this group will triple in size, accounting for nearly 30 percent of the U.S. population, the Pew Research Center concluded in a 2008 report.
As the Latino population continues to rise, the number of Latino employees will grow. Employers need to understand the ethnic and cultural differences among various Latino communities so they can manage their increasingly diverse workforces.
Join us for an interactive 90-minute interactive webinar on how to grasp cultural differences so you can bolster your Latino recruitment efforts.
Learning Objectives:- Why traditional recruitment methods may not work within the Latino community
- What every recruiter and hiring manager needs to know about the behavioral and cultural characteristics of the Latino community
- The inadvertent mistakes to avoid making when recruiting Latino workers so you don’t wind up in a legal mess
- Effective ways to improve your recruitment strategy’s effectiveness
- Real-life case studies that demonstrate the successful ways in which companies have recruited and retained qualified Latino workers

| About Webcasts / Audio Conferences / Podcasts: |
Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.
The live versions are interactive, meaning that participants can ask questions in real time, plus are a very cost-effective form a training because 1) you receive fast, convenient learning without any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back at work immediately after the session ends!
And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous times and to share it with others in your office.
Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the presenter and from the "MyAccount" link on the menu bar. Copies of the presentations are included with recorded versions. |
