About Your Speakers:
Christine L. Keller, Esq. is a principal at the Washington, D.C.-based Groom Law Group and leader of its Health & Welfare Practice Group. Keller advises employers, insurers, and plan administrators concerning federal and state laws that impact the administration of ERISA welfare benefit plans, cafeteria plans, health savings accounts, and other employee benefit arrangements. She is the lead author of the Health Savings Account Answer Book, Aspen Publishers (2009), and one of the authors of The Adviser's Guide to Health Savings Accounts, AICPA (2009). Keller also was involved as a principal author of the IRS’ final cafeteria plan regulations, published in 2000 and 2001. Cheryl Risley Hughes, Esq. is of counsel at Groom Law Group and a member of the Health & Welfare Practice Group. Hughes has practiced employee benefits law for almost 15 years and is recognized for her expertise with health and welfare plans, particularly consumer driven health plans. She is a contributing editor to the Consumer Driven Health Care and Fringe Benefit manuals published by the Employee Benefits Institute of America (EBIA) and is a frequent lecturer for EBIA and other organizations.
