| Description: |
What’s the # 1 expense item for almost every employer? People. However, your people are also your # 1 asset – and the primary source of your profits! So, if you can’t measure, track, and explain how your workforce contributes to the bottom line, chances are your organization’s top management doesn’t fully appreciate your value.
Measuring and demonstrating the worth of human capital is a puzzle that frustrates even the most experienced HR professionals. But, in today’s economy, you’ll never gain the respect and leverage you deserve until you can capture your workforce’s return on investment and the value you bring to your entire organization.
These days, it’s less about what you do - and much more about what you deliver.
Learning Objective:- How to gauge whether your HR department is viewed internally as a profit driver or a cost center
- Why tracking HR activity day to day isn’t the same as measuring HR value
- The most important HR metrics you should measure in your organization - with detailed explanations of the math involved
- What steps you should take ASAP to begin communicating these HR numbers to your top leaders and executives
- How you can counter (and win over) senior managers who undervalue (or who don’t understand) what you do in HR
- Why you must prove the value proposition for your HR role in setting business strategies as the economy begins turning around
- The key mistakes HR professionals make in proving their bottom-line worth - and how you can avoid repeating them

| About Webcasts / Audio Conferences / Podcasts: |
Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.
The live versions are interactive, meaning that participants can ask questions in real time, plus are a very cost-effective form a training because 1) you receive fast, convenient learning without any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back at work immediately after the session ends!
And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous times and to share it with others in your office.
Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the presenter and from the "MyAccount" link on the menu bar. Copies of the presentations are included with recorded versions. |
