In today's economy, no business can afford to accept less than the best performance from every employee. Indeed employee performance will be the deciding factor in whether your business will thrive or merely survive.
All leaders and managers are responsible for accomplishing results from their employees. Whether those results are good or not will depend largely on what kind of feedback is provided to the employees.
The right kind of feedback can spur an average employee to new heights, even turn around a low performer. The wrong kind can de-motivate even a high performer down to the depths of your worst performer.
Learning Objective
You'll learn how to provide effective feedback to employees at all organizational and performance levels, including:- The 5 most important things you can do in managing an employee’s performance. Those that without doing you have no chance of improving low performance or of even sustaining high performance.
- How on earth do you tell someone they are doing terrible when they think things are going swell
- Dealing effectively with the crier, the over sensitive, the resistant, the stubborn, the know it all, and the worst of all, the long-term, problem employee that has never been managed
- Compliance concerns. What you need to know to write good documentation to back up your feedback and decisions
- How to tell when someone can't be redirected and what to do
- What to do with the employee you're "scared" of!

| About Webcasts / Audio Conferences / Podcasts: |
Webcasts, audio conferences, and podcasts are presentations that you attend via the Internet, phone, or mobile device at a specified date and time for "live" versions, or at your convenience for "recorded" and "On-Demand" versions.
The live versions are interactive, meaning that participants can ask questions in real time, plus are a very cost-effective form a training because 1) you receive fast, convenient learning without any out-of-office time; 2) you can invite as many colleagues as you'd like to listen in on a single phone line; 3) you incur no travel expenses; and 4) you and your colleagues are back at work immediately after the session ends!
And though with recorded versions you do lose the ability to ask questions, you gain the ability to hear the presentation numerous times and to share it with others in your office.
Handout materials and the phone number for live presentations are made available to you prior to the event via email from the presenter and from the "MyAccount" link on the menu bar. Copies of the presentations are included with recorded versions. |
