Description:

This course combines the essential elements from EEAC's popular one-day seminars on Basic EEO, Responding to Charges of Employment Discrimination, and Developing & Defending Compliant Action Programs.
This one-week course, presented by EEAC's staff experts, and designed for HR professionals and in-house legal counsel is intended to give them the benefits of EEAC's four core training programs condensed into an intense one-week session. Program participants will receive the EEAC Equal Opportunity Professional Certificate, and all EEAC seminars qualify for recertification credit from the Human Resource Certification Institute. Although this course is designed to be intense, it offers a unique and cost-effective opportunity for professionals new to EEO and affirmative action to get the fundamentals of compliance in both areas at one time, in one location, taught by leading experts in the field.
Course materials include a binder with copies of overhead slides and relevant EEAC memoranda, as well as copies of the popular EEAC resource manuals that accompany each of the four core courses.
Please note that attendance at each session is limited to no more than 15 participants (12 minimum), so we encourage you to register as soon as possible. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. The registration fee includes a continental breakfast and lunch each day. Dress is casual.
Cancellation Policy
Full refunds will be made for cancellations received by EEAC more than ten business days before the start date of the program. For cancellations received by EEAC ten business days or fewer before the start date of the program, 50% of the registration fee will be refunded. Refunds will be processed for cancellations received by mail or fax only. Failure to notify EEAC of a cancellation in writing prior to the program may result in no portion of the registration fee being refunded.
In the event EEAC has less than 10 registrants for a particular program, EEAC reserves the right to cancel the program. In that event, registrants will be offered either a full refund or the ability to transfer to a future EEAC event.
Use of Recording Devices and Auxiliary Aids
Because EEAC's seminars are designed to encourage candid questions and comments among participants, the use of any type of recording device is not permitted. If because of a disability you will need auxiliary aids or services to participate in the seminar, please contact us prior to the session.
