Course Description
This course is designed to teach you the essential features and functionality of AutoCAD® Revit, from building design through construction documentation.
Attendees will learn how to:- Describe building information modeling and the benefits of bidirectional associativity
- Navigate the Autodesk Revit Building interface, manage views, and identify the different types of building elements
- Start new projects, create conceptual designs using Building Maker, create and modify levels, and use column grids
- Create and modify different types of walls, doors, and windows
- Create and use dimensions and constraints to control object positioning
- Create and use curtain walls, floors, ceilings, roofs, and stairs and railings
- Load, place, and modify component families
- Create different types of schedules and control the appearance of schedules
